Service Provision

The home care and nursing services that M.S.E. provide are essential and proceeding as normal. We have a large team of over 500 carers and nurses and can continue to provide our families with consistency of care, even if one or more regular carers were unavailable.

In response to the Government recommendations regarding social distancing we have reduced the number of houses and people our team are in contact with. This minimises both the number of people visiting each home and the number of homes each team member visits. We have also restricted any non-critical visits to homes.

These measures reduce exposure for our families and our team as we work through this together.

Care if you are Sick

We will continue to care for our families at home if they get sick with a cold, a flu, or even with COVID-19 (assuming hospitalisation is not required). Whilst we are hopeful this outbreak will not reach our At Home Care family, we are prepared if it does.
We have an ample supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gowns, N95 masks and face shields/goggles.
A dedicated Response Team who are available 24/7.
Protocols and guidelines, including fact sheets and videos, to assist with the management of PPE, hygiene, cleaning and travel requirements.
